Association Of Mary Queen Of All Hearts
In 1899, Archbishop Joseph Thomas Duhamel of Ottawa Canada, created a Confraternity in the name of the Blessed Mother called, Mary Queen Of All Hearts and in 1913, Pope St. Pius X, raised this Association to the level of an Archconfraternity, allowing the whole of the Church to participate in its beauty and grace. This same Pope, in 1904, near the very beginning of his Pontificate, penned a grace filled encyclical on the Blessed Virgin Mary naming it, On That Most Happy Day , ( Ad Diem Illum Laetissimum ), referring to the day in 1854 when his predecessor, Pope Pius IX had declared the Dogma of Mary’s Immaculate Conception.
Pope Pius X drew significantly on the writings of St. Louis de Montfort and perhaps as a result it is now the Montfort Father who are guardians of this Confraternity. The essence of this Association is the surrender and submission to Mary in all things, and who, from this humble place, leads us to Jesus in and through the power of the Holy Spirit!
In our Movement of Restoring All things in Christ , we feel called and so led to embrace this Confraternity, believing firmly that Mary at Quito, promising a new splendor in the Church will affect all at her hand and so our desire to be at her service in this work of holy restoration! It is worthy of note that the Pope’s encyclical was promulgated on February 2, 1904, the Feast of Our Lady at Quito, Buen Suceso of the Purification.
To be delivered from the slavery of these heresies, those whom the merciful love of my Son has destined for this restoration will need great will-percoura, and confidence in God.
Embracing the proclamation of St. Louis de Montfort in a holy uniting to Mary:
“Totus Tuus ego sum, et omnia mea tua sunt.”
(Mary, I am totally yours and all that I have is yours)
Marian Consecration Daily Prayer
Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of all hearts, I offer and give my prayers, sacrifices, good works, time, talent and treasure to your Immaculate Heart, to do with as you please, for the greater glory of God.
I thank God the Father, for choosing you to be my heavenly Mother. I thank God the Son, for giving you to me as He was dying for my sins and those of the whole world on the cross. I thank God the Holy Spirit, for the graces He gives me through you.
Help me by you prayers to be faithful to the vows of my Baptism. Help me by your prayers to accomplish all that God has planned for me in advance to do. Amen.
